4.2% + $1.00 a ticket

Sell the room out. Keep the money.

Roughly half what the big platform charges, and your buyers see one honest number the whole way through. Publish in about eight minutes.

No monthly fee. No lock-in. Free events are free to run — no ticket fee at all.

On a $50.00 ticket

You net

$46.90

Fee absorbed · buyer pays your $50.00

Or you net

$50.00

Fee added · buyer pays $53.10, shown from the first screen

01 · What it costs

One fee. You choose who carries it.

The whole fee is 4.2% + $1.00 per ticket, GST inclusive, and that is the only fee there is. Absorb it and your price is what the buyer pays. Add it on and you keep every dollar you asked for.

Mode A · absorb the fee

Buyer pays $50.00

You net $46.90

Cleanest price on the poster. Best when the number itself is the pitch — $50 flat, $20 on the door.

Mode B · add to the price

Buyer pays $53.10

You net $50.00

The buyer still sees $53.10 everywhere, from the first search result on. Nothing appears later.

Either way

One number, all the way through

Search results, event page, shared link, checkout, email, receipt. A fee that turns up at the payment step is illegal here from 1 July 2027 — we never had one.

The ticket editor shows both outcomes live as you type a price, so you never have to work this out yourself.

03 · The door

Built for a volunteer in the dark.

The scanner is designed for one hand, no reading, and a queue building behind the person in front of you.

  • Green needs no tap — it clears itself and the queue keeps moving. Only a refusal needs a deliberate press.
  • Every verdict carries a colour, a word and a buzz pattern, so it reads in the dark and through gloves.
  • Works with no signal at all. The phone holds tonight's list, decides locally, and uploads when signal returns.
  • Search by name, email, order number or ticket code — for the phone that died and the printout that went through the wash.

    The promoter

Tiered releases, table bookings, a door team of five on their own phones.

  • fete photo

    The school

A fete with free entry and paid ride passes. Free tickets cost nothing to issue.

  • event photo

    The one-off

A wedding expo, a fundraiser, one night only. No account to maintain afterwards.
