Ticket Purchase Terms

*Version 2026-08-12 · Effective 12 August 2026*

1. Who you are contracting with

1.1 You are purchasing from the organiser of the event, not from Admit It!. We supply the ticketing platform the organiser uses. Your payment settles to the organiser, and their name appears on your statement.

1.2 The organiser alone is responsible for the event: for it taking place, for it conforming to its description, for the conduct of the venue, and for refunds.

2. What a ticket is

2.1 A ticket is a revocable licence to attend the event named on it, granted by the organiser and subject to these terms, the organiser's conditions of entry, and the rules of the venue. It is not a right of entry in any other circumstances.

2.2 A ticket admits one person once. Once scanned it is spent, whether or not the person who used it was you.

2.3 Your ticket is personal to you. You may transfer it to another person, but you may not resell it for more than you paid.

3. Conditions of entry, refusal and removal

3.1 Entry is conditional on your compliance with the organiser's published conditions of entry and with the reasonable directions of the venue and its staff. Those conditions may include age limits, identification, dress requirements, bag and item restrictions, search on entry, and standards of behaviour.

3.2 You may be refused entry to, or removed from, the event for non-compliance with any of those conditions or directions, for intoxication, or for conduct that in the reasonable opinion of the organiser or the venue is unsafe, unlawful, offensive, or liable to disrupt the event or other attendees.

3.3 Refusal of entry or removal in the circumstances described in clause 3.2 does not entitle you to a refund, in whole or in part, and does not entitle you to any compensation. The organiser has supplied what was sold: the opportunity to attend on the stated conditions.

3.4 Nor is a refund payable where you do not attend, arrive after the advertised commencement or after entry has closed, mislay your ticket without seeking a replacement, or are unable to attend for reasons personal to you.

4. Refunds

4.1 If the event is cancelled, you are refunded in full, including fees. The organiser cannot contract out of this.

4.2 Where an event is rescheduled or relocated, or where what is supplied differs from what was advertised, your remedy depends on the significance of the difference. Where the failure is a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law you may choose a refund; otherwise the organiser may elect to remedy it. Changes to a supporting act, a running order, a set list, a line-up or a seat allocation are not, of themselves, a failure of that kind.

4.3 Change-of-mind refunds are at the organiser's discretion. Whether they are offered is stated on each ticket type before you buy. Where offered, they are subject to the organiser's conditions and fees are not returned — the payment has been processed and the fee already incurred.

4.4 Refund requests are directed to the organiser, whose details appear on the event page and in your confirmation email. We have no authority to refund on the organiser's behalf except where we are required to.

4.5 Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where those rights apply, they apply regardless of anything above.

5. At the venue

5.1 Attendance is at your own risk. The organiser and the occupier of the venue are responsible for the premises, for crowd management and for safety at the event. Admit It! does not own, occupy, control, inspect or attend any venue, and is not responsible for what occurs at one.

5.2 The event may be filmed or photographed. By attending you may appear in that material.

6. Your ticket

6.1 Your ticket is delivered by email with a QR code, and remains readable without a connection once the page has loaded. You may screenshot it.

6.2 A ticket that is refunded, transferred or cancelled ceases to be valid immediately.

6.3 If you mislay the email you may have it sent again at any time. No account is required.

7. Your information

We collect your name and email address, and use them to deliver your ticket and to send information about this event. The organiser has access to them because they need to know who is attending. Our Privacy Policy sets out the remainder.

8. Our role and our liability

8.1 We supply the ticketing software and deliver your ticket. We are not the organiser, we do not present the event, and we do not run the venue.

8.2 Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you in connection with your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for your ticket.

9. Who to contact

Contact the organiser about the event, your admission, or a refund. Contact us about the website, or a ticket email that did not arrive.
